Attributed to the Workshop of the Patera Painter

The Patera Painter refers to an Apulian red-figure vase painter whose name is unknown. The name comes from the long-handled pateras (libation bowls) that were included in many of the Patera Painter’s works. Numerous vases have been attributed to the Patera Painter on the basis of style.
