Docent Endowment Lecture: Alison Saar (event)
Alison Saar, who created the sturdy yet delicate bronze sculpture Tippy Toes in the NCMA’s collection, talks about her work. She touches on its themes of women, female sexuality, nature, racism, and domesticity and its context in the fragility of natural and social environments.
This is a public lecture (no CEUs) and a great opportunity to hear from an artist. This lecture will be held both in person and virtually on Zoom. Please select an option at checkout.
