Teacher Workshop: Making Morning for Printmaking (event)

Photo: Alder Keene

Enjoy a morning of printmaking with fellow educators during a hands-on workshop led by artist and educator Alder Keene. Printmaking is an effective tool to ignite conversations and express ideas in the classroom, and beyond. This workshop will introduce participants to three simple methods of printmaking (mono printing, collagraph printing, and etching). These various approaches can be applied across subjects and grade levels and can spark personal artwork, as well. The focus will be on materials and processes of printmaking, with time to connect to teaching practice.
