Bacchus Scholar’s Day brings together the curator, conservator, classicist, art historians, geoarchaeologist, scientist, engineer, 3-D specialist, and artist who contributed to the scholarly study, scientific analysis, restoration, and conservation of the NCMA’s Statue of Bacchus. Discover how science and new technologies came to the rescue of this work of art.
