Peter Oakley

Peter Oakley was born in 1974. He received a bachelor’s of art in interdisciplinary studies from Appalachian State University, focusing his talents on philosophy, psychology, and creative writing at alternating points in his academic career. In 1998, he began a career as a mason, creating gravestones and other everyday items until he opted to transition into fine arts in 2007. Since that time, Oakley’s work has been featured in exhibitions throughout the Southeast.
