Teen Art Show Deadline: Teens, Inspired: Multifaceted (event)
How do you show up in the world?
Create a work of art that draws inspiration from at least 3 works of art from the different collections on display at the NCMA.
Are you armored yet connected like El Anatsui’s “Lines that Link Humanity?”
Are you tranquil and layered, à la Monet’s “The Cliff, Etretat, Sunset?”
Are you also iconic and bold, like one of the women in Mickalene Thomas’ “Les Trois Femmes Noires?”
